Samsung is set to expand its Yepp portable multimedia player (PMP) series with a new sleek black offering. Dubbed the YP-P2, the device is rumoured to boast a whole host of functions ranging from videos and music, to FM radio, datacasts and Bluetooth.

The YP-P2 is thought to measure about 10 x 5 x 0.9cm and, according to an online video of the device in use, be primarily operated via a 438 x 240 pixel touchscreen display or blue circular wheel. It may also ship with up to 8GB of Flash memory and include support for MP3, WMV, WMA and H.264 file formats.

The player is rumoured to be Samsung’s latest Yepp PMP, despite any obvious branding
